Who can be a physiotherapist?
In addition to having a high aptitude for science and maths, an individual seeking a physical therapy career should have excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating compassion and the sincere desire to provide help to patients in need.
To become a physical therapist in our country, an individual must obtain a diploma/degree from an accredited physiotherapy program. Upon completing this program, the individual must register with State Medical Faculty & I.A.P. Apex Paramedical Institute is offering program Diploma in Physiotherapy (DPT) course. After completing the training required to practice physiotherapy, an individual may choose to obtain training and certification in a specialty area

► Cardiopulmonary:

Audio Visual Lab:
The Apex Paramedical Institute posses a good number of audio visual aids. A good collection of video tapes, CD and audio cassettes on different subjects are available for the student's education. In addition, the Apex Paramedical institute students shall also have access to the computer Lab. and latest software.

Laboratory:
Under the valuable guidance of the Sr. Faculty, physiotherapy students shall be allowed to work in the following modern and fully equipped labs.

Hostel facilities:
A hostel facility is available and compulsory for the students. Each student is provided with residing room with a locker, a table and a chair. Students are to strictly follow hostel rules to be immunized against Hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and Typhoid on payment. Students will have to strictly follow hostel rules. Ragging is strictly prohibited in the hostel & campus. If any such case comes to the notice of the prescribed Authority, the authority has full power to suspend the miscreant from the Apex Institute. Students are advised not to keep heavy cash, gold jewellery and costly electronics items in their rooms. Authority will not be responsible for any loss.

Medical Facility:
All the ultra modern medical facilities are available in the Apex Super Speciality Hospital Campus, where Apex Paramedical Institute is situated. We have a student's welfare center in the Hospital.
